This Summer legendary actor Harrison Ford has turned 81 and one of his most CLASSIC non-“Star Wars” or “Indiana Jones” movies roles is now 30 years old. This, as Ford is “Dr. Richard Kimble” in the 1993 dramatic thriller, “The Fugitive.”

The acting and the action keep you on the edge of your seat, as Kimble escapes from the prison bus and has only a short amount of time to avoid the Marshals (and everyone else searching for him) to try to prove, “I DIDN’T kill my wife.” You’ll spend the next two hours enjoying drama and thrills as Gerard and his team try to track down Kimble and eventually, they need each other’s help to solve Kimble’s wife’s murder.

The Fugitive Made Huge Money
Debuting the first week in August of 1993, “The Fugitive” made $23.8 million en route to dominating the box office for the next six weeks. When it was all said and done, the film was a mega-hit, eventually grossing nearly $370 million on its $44 million budget.
“The Fugitive” would finiish No. 2 for the year at the box office trailing only Steven Spielberg’s “Jurassic Park” and ahead of the Tom Cruise blockbuster “The Firm.”
Interestingly, Ford reportedly turned down the lead role in “Jurassic Park,” because he wanted to play Kimble/would be filming at the same time, “The Fugitive.”
