Reception for Outbreak

Outbreak grossed $13.4 million on its opening weekend, finishing No. 1 at the box office, ahead of Man of the House starring Chevy Chase, The Brady Bunch Movie and Just Cause starring Sean Connery.

The film would gross $189.9 million worldwide.

Roger Ebert gave the film three and a half out of four stars in his review, saying “Outbreak is the kind of movie you enjoy even while you observe yourself being manipulated.”
