Reception for Masquerade

Masquerade grossed $3.5 million on its opening weekend, finishing third at the box office behind Good Morning Vietnam ($4.4 million) starring Robin Williams and Vice Versa ($4.1 million) starring Judge Reinhold and Fred Savage.

The film would gross $15.9 million in its theatrical run.

Roger Ebert gave the film three out of four stars in his review, calling it “sort of a Deathstyles of the Rich and Famous.”
