From creators Jon Hurwitz, Hayden Schlossberg and Josh Heald, the minds behind Cobra Kai, comes the high-octane action-comedy series Obliterated. This Netflix original thrusts viewers into the chaotic aftermath of a successful mission by an elite special forces team in Las Vegas.
The team, which includes CIA agent Ava Winters (Shelly Hennig), Navy SEAL Chad McKnight (Nick Zano), and tech expert Maya Choi (Kimi Rutledge), among others, believes they have just defused a nuclear threat. They celebrate their victory with a wild, alcohol-fueled party, only to discover the horrifying truth: the bomb they stopped was a decoy. Now, in a state of complete inebriation, they must put their differences aside and find the real nuclear device before it’s too late.
The series is an adrenaline-fueled spectacle, leaning heavily into its “drunk heroes” premise.
The ensemble cast, which also features Terrence Terrell, Paola Lázaro, Alyson Gorske, Eugene Kim and C. Thomas Howell as members of the team, showcases a chaotic but charming chemistry.
David Costabile (Suits, Billions) also stars as Wade Maddox, a black-market operator.
The race against the clock is filled with over-the-top action sequences and laugh-out-loud moments as the team struggles to perform their duties while completely hammered.
